The Commercial Award

2019's Commercial Award was awarded to GRAS / Groves-Raines Architects for The Cassette at Waverley Mall, the second in a series of retail spaces re-imagining previously neglected corners of the mall.

The Social Award

2019's Social Award was awarded to the Scottish BAME Writers Network, founded by Alycia Pirmohamed and Jay G Ying an accessible network which advocates and provides opportunities from BAME writers.

The Creativity Award

A one-off project that’s proved unforgettable. For when financial gain has taken a backseat, risks have been taken and exploration of new ideas and new talent has been placed at the forefront of a project.

2019's Creativity Award was awarded to Impact Art (Projects) Ltd for Knight at the Castle, a neon extravaganza designed to celebrate the Year of the Young People which showcased young rising talent and integrated partnerships with youth organisations.

2019's Leadership Award was awarded to Helena Good, Design Lecturer at Edinburgh College, for her work inspiring the next generation of creatives over the space of her career through mentoring, teaching and leadership of Daydream Believers.

Edinburgh is a city full of inspiration and creativity so we want to hear about projects which have built on its cultural values, drawn on its city spaces or shouted about our creative hub on a national or international stage.

2019's City Award was awarded to Jemma Neville for Constitution Street, a recently published book and ongoing project praised for its exploration of the city's physical, political and social environment.
