The Creative Edinburgh Awards 2018 - the winners!
news
16/11/18

We had a fantastic evening celebrating the creative minds of Edinburgh at the Awards ceremony on Wednesday 14th November. Thanks to all of our nominees, winners, sponsors and to everyone who joined us on the night

We gathered together at the Roxy as a community of creative professionals to celebrate the breadth of Edinburgh's creative talents, showcasing exceptional work from creatives just starting out to some of our city's most established organisations. Plus it was our 7th birthday bash too!

The Creative Edinburgh Awards cover nine categories, celebrating creative talents of all forms and reflecting the wealth of talent to be found in Edinburgh’s thriving creative economy.

Helena Ward, Creative Industries Manager, Creative Scotland, said:

“Over the past seven years the Creative Edinburgh Awards have recognised creative practitioners based in the City and how they are building businesses through imaginative and meaningful work. This year’s awards continue that celebration and it’s great to see such a rich mix of creative practice recognised in this way. Our congratulations to all the winners, nominees and everyone involved.”

Huge thanks go to our headline sponsors Barclays Eagle Labs, our beer sponsors Bellfield Brewery, and our awards sponsors Newspaper Club, Edinburgh Napier University, Business Gateway and CodeBase.

We would also like to thank Jay Lafferty for her wonderful hosting, our DJs for the night, EH-FM for providing the tunes; the amazing Lynne Fraser from Fantoosh Face Art, who didn’t put her brush down once on the night; origami artist Hannah Ashwell, whose fantastic origami decorations lit up the stage; Sugar Daddy's Bakery for the delicious cakes, David Wilkinson for the amazing photos, Ross Fraser McLean for the photo studio fun, our media partners, The Skinny; and of course our brilliant venue, the Assembly Roxy for hosting us and being so helpful the whole evening.
