Thank you to everyone who entered this year’s Awards - whittling down the long list of nominations was a difficult job, showing just how strong the creative field is here in Edinburgh.

Huge thanks go to our headline sponsors Barclays Eagle Labs, our beer sponsors Bellfield Brewery, and our awards sponsors Newspaper Club, Edinburgh Napier University, Business Gateway and CodeBase.

Extra thanks go to our DJs for the night, EH-FM; Fantoosh Face Art, who’ll be providing the face painting; origami artist Hannah Ashwell, who’s coordinating the fantastic origami decorations for the night; our media partners, The Skinny; and of course our brilliant venue, the Assembly Roxy.

Mark Gorman, Chair of Creative Edinburgh, said: “The strength of this shortlist shows just how much great creative industry there is going on throughout Edinburgh in so many different sectors. The Creative Edinburgh Awards exists to shine a light on that fantastic work on every level, from students who are just starting their creative journey to established companies working on international projects. It’s truly an exciting time to be part of the creative industries in Edinburgh and it's thrilling to be part of that ride.”

Yasmin Sulaiman, Director of Creative Edinburgh, said: "We had over a hundred amazing nominations to consider when creating the shortlist, showing how strong the creative industries are here in Edinburgh, and we had to lose some brilliant nominees - so thank you very much to everyone who entered.

"We look forward to the Creative Edinburgh Awards all year and this year’s shortlist is first-rate. We can’t wait to announce the winners at the Roxy on the 14th of November."
