EIFF: Young Talents

EIFF Young Talents Programme 2012 are looking for young people, aged 16 - 18, who are enthusiastic about film and are considering pursuing a career in film. This is an excellent opportunity for young people who are serious about film to take part in a vibrant and innovative film festival. Young Talents will be able to access EIFF Industry events and screenings and we will also provide an introduction to the festival, a bespoke schedule and events created specifically for you. EIFF: Student Critics Award Jury
The Student Critics Award Jury will offer three places for film
critics of the future to attend EIFF and view a shortlisted
programme of films. Working with two established critics as
mentors, the Jury will develop their writing and critical skills
during their time at the Festival. The Jury will select the winner
of the inaugural Student Critics Award at EIFF's Award Ceremony on
30 June. This is an ideal opportunity for students to hone their
writing skills and gain practical journalistic experience as well
as experience a renowned festival.
